MAYA G. – FULL-TIME HYGIENIST
Maya loves getting to know her patients and making them feel truly comfortable with her gentle and experienced hands. Super-friendly and outgoing, she makes the hygiene sessions more enjoyable for patients.
She received her B.S. degree and dental hygiene degree from the University of Michigan in 1993. Maya is married to her loving husband Eric and has three great boys who keep her busy. She loves to travel, work out and spend quality time with family and friends.
JAYSAREE “JAY” S. – FULL-TIME HYGIENIST
Jay has been a member of Dr. Bernstein’s team since 2019. She loves working here as she wants to make patients comfortable while improving their oral hygiene. Her goal is to guide and educate her patients to keep their smiles healthy and beautiful.
Jay graduated from the Oakland Community College hygiene program and is certified in administering anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Jay was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2003. She lives with her lovely husband Brijesh and her two wonderful boys – Anand and Varun.
REBECCA B. – DENTAL ASSISTANT
Rebecca, aka Becca, has assisted Dr. Bernstein for over 21 years! Our patients enjoy her positive personality and radiant smile. Becca has been in the dental field for over 25 years, beginning as a scheduling coordinator and transitioning into dental assisting. Becca does her best to have a gentle and compassionate chairside manner to help each patient, even the most fearful, to feel relaxed and comfortable. Becca wants patients to rest assured that she will be by their side when Dr. Bernstein is transforming their smiles into something extraordinary and improving their dental health.
She attended Oakland University majoring in Communications with a minor in English. In her free time, Becca enjoys healthy cooking/baking and spoiling her co-workers with her creations. She is also an avid bookworm who is happily married to her husband Brian.
ANDREA W. – FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR
At Dr. Bernstein’s office, our commitment to excellent care goes beyond the dentist’s chair. Andrea provides each patient with a warm welcome as they enter the office. A veteran of the dental field for over 20 years, she’s responsible for greeting our patients, helping form their treatment plans, helping with insurance plans and filing, scheduling future appointments and all billing matters.
When she’s not here, Andrea enjoys spending time with her fiancé Micheal. She is a proud mom of her lovely daughter Gabby who recently graduated from U of M and is pursuing a career in finance in California. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and dining out. She also spends a lot of time enjoying the great outdoors of Michigan through kayaking, running, hiking and bicycling. She’s also the proud parent of two cats.
